How much does mobile car detailing cost in Ajax?
Real numbers from the booking engine. No form to fill, no callback to wait for.
Mobile car detailing in Ajax runs $90 to $260 CAD with us, depending on vehicle size and package. A Basic Detail is $90 to $130. A Premium Detail is $140 to $195. The Exclusive Detail, our deepest clean, is $180 to $260. Those are fixed prices from our live booking engine, not estimates.
Here is the full grid. Find your vehicle, pick your package, and the number you see is the number you pay when the job is done.
| Vehicle | Basic Detail (45 to 75 min) | Premium Detail (1.5 to 2.5 hrs) | Exclusive Detail (3 to 4 hrs) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small car | $90 | $140 | $180 |
| Sedan / small SUV | $100 | $150 | $200 |
| Large SUV / minivan | $120 | $175 | $230 |
| Pickup truck | $130 | $195 | $260 |
Two things set your price: size and condition. Size is the table above. Condition is the part most detailers stay vague about. A winter of 401 and Bayly Street salt ground into the carpet, heavy pet hair through every seam, or deep-set stains add real working time, and sometimes that adds to the price.
When it does, you hear it from us before any work starts, never after. Nobody should stand in their own driveway negotiating a number that grew while they weren't looking.
Ajax has its own dirt profile, salt, construction dust, trail mud, covered in its own section further down the page. None of it scares us, it just tells us which package to point you at.
The price also covers the mobile part. We come to your driveway, townhouse lane, or workplace lot anywhere in Ajax, from Pickering Village to South Ajax by the waterfront, and everything the job needs arrives with us. All we need is a spot to park beside the vehicle.
A note on shopping around. Plenty of detailing pages make you submit a form to learn a price, and some list a wall of package names with no numbers attached at all. We publish ours because we set them and we do the work, so we don't need wiggle room. If a company won't show you a number until they have your phone number, that tells you how the rest of the conversation is going to go.
What's included in each package
Three packages, one add-on, no fine print.
The Basic ($90 to $130) includes an interior vacuum, exterior hand wash, tire shine, and windows. The Premium ($140 to $195) adds a full interior wipe-down, deep-cleaned wheels, and spray wax. The Exclusive ($180 to $260) adds spray ceramic sealant, pet hair removal, heavy stain cleanup, and a trunk deep clean. Headlight restoration is a $50 add-on.
Every package is the same fully mobile service, done by the same person. The tiers only change how deep the clean goes and how long we stay. The durations below are honest working ranges, a pickup full of winter takes longer than a small car that gets washed monthly. Not sure which size bracket your vehicle sits in? Text us a photo and we'll confirm before you book.
Basic Detail .. 45 to 75 minutes .. $90 to $130
Interior vacuum through the seats, floors, and trunk, an exterior hand wash, tire shine, and a quick window wipe inside and out. This is the maintenance clean for a car that gets regular care: it resets the daily grime without the deep work. The exact number for your vehicle size is in the grid above.
Premium Detail .. 1.5 to 2.5 hours .. $140 to $195
Everything in the Basic, plus the interior actually gets detailed: a full wipe-down of the dash, console, doors, and vents, door jambs cleaned, interior windows polished. Outside, the wheels get deep cleaned and the paint gets spray wax.
Exclusive Detail .. 3 to 4 hours .. $180 to $260
Everything in the Premium, plus spray ceramic sealant on the paint, pet hair removal, heavy stain and mud cleanup, and a trunk deep clean. All of it is included in the price, none of it comes back as a surprise extra at the end.
Add-on: headlight restoration .. +$50
Cloudy, yellowed headlight lenses restored on any package for a flat $50. If your low beams look dim on Taunton or the 401 at night, the plastic is usually the problem, not the bulbs.
Which one do you need? If the car just wears its daily commute, the Basic keeps it in shape. If it's a family sedan or SUV that hasn't had real attention in a few months, sticky console, film on the inside glass, crumbs in every seam, the Premium is the right call. If you're dealing with pet hair, a winter of salt, ground-in stains, or you're prepping the car to sell, go straight to the Exclusive. Booking small and finding out mid-job that the car needed more is the expensive way to learn, and it's the one outcome this pricing is built to avoid.
How mobile detailing works at your Ajax driveway.
You park it once. We bring everything else.
Mobile detailing in Ajax works in three steps: book online at exclsivedetailing.com or text (365) 275-3605, we arrive at your driveway or workplace lot with our own water, power, and equipment, and you walk out to a finished car in 45 minutes to 4 hours, paying by debit or e-transfer after you inspect the work.
- 01Book or textBook online at exclsivedetailing.com or text (365) 275-3605. WhatsApp works too. Tell us the vehicle, the package, and where it will be parked.
- 02We show up readyWe arrive with our own water, power, equipment, and products. No hose, no outlet, nothing borrowed from your garage.
- 03Walk out to a done carA Basic runs 45 to 75 minutes, a Premium 1.5 to 2.5 hours, an Exclusive 3 to 4. Look it over, then pay by debit or e-transfer.
Fully mobile means fully mobile. Every machine and product the job needs rides in with us, and the only thing we need from you is a spot to park beside the vehicle.
The person who pulls up is Zehaan, the owner, and that is me. Not a rotating crew, not a franchise van. I book the job, I do the work, and I am the one you text afterwards if anything needs a second look. One person doing the work is the entire quality-control department.
Townhouse lanes and shared driveways are fine, and the phases off Audley and Taunton bring plenty of newer builds and shared lanes. We are used to working tight. If your parking situation is genuinely awkward, text us a photo of the spot and we will tell you straight whether it works.
Workplace lots work too. If your building allows visitor parking and we can set up beside the car, your vehicle gets detailed while you sit in meetings. A parking stall off Bayly or near the 401 is as good as a driveway to us. If your lot has vendor rules, clear it with building management first and we will handle everything after that.
The version Ajax commuters like best: leave the car at home in the morning, walk to your train at Ajax GO, and come back to a finished vehicle. Or flip it, drive to work, and we meet you in the lot. Either way, the detail happens inside time you were already spending somewhere else.
We run 7:00am to 9:30pm, seven days a week. That range exists because driveways are busiest on evenings and weekends, and a mobile schedule should bend around yours, not the other way round. Same-day slots come up when the calendar allows, so if the car needs to be clean tonight, text first and ask.
Do you come to my part of Ajax?
Yes. Here is the map, in words.
Yes. We cover all of Ajax: Pickering Village, Westney Heights, Nottingham, Hermitage, Riverside, Discovery Bay, South Ajax by the waterfront, and downtown around Harwood. If you live along the Westney, Salem, Bayly, Taunton, or Audley corridors, you are on our normal routes. Book online or text us your street.
That covers the oldest parts of town and the newest ones alike. Downtown around Harwood and Pickering Village tend to mean tighter parking, which is fine. The newer phases of north Ajax off Audley and Taunton bring plenty of newer builds and shared lanes, also fine. In between sit the established streets off Kingston Rd, Westney, and Salem, with regular driveways and straightforward setups. As long as we can park beside the vehicle, we can detail it.
Where you are in town tends to change what we find inside the car, and Ajax has its own dirt profile, salt, construction dust, trail mud, that gets its own section below. None of that changes whether we come, it just tells us what to pack.
If your pocket of Ajax is not named above, that is not a no. Those are reference points, not a fence. We are a Durham Region operation, so Ajax is home ground, not the far edge of somebody's service map.
What does interior car detailing in Ajax actually include?
Vacuum to door jambs, done in your driveway, from $90 CAD.
A proper interior detail covers a full vacuum of seats, floors, mats and trunk, a wipe-down of the dash, console, door panels and vents, cleaned door jambs, and interior glass polished until it disappears. We do all of it in your Ajax driveway. A Basic starts at $90 CAD; the full wipe-down level is the Premium, $140 to $195.
Basic covers the vacuum of seats, floors and trunk plus a quick window wipe. Premium adds the full wipe-down of dash, console, doors and vents, door jambs, and polished interior windows. Exclusive adds pet hair removal, heavy stain and mud cleanup, and a trunk deep clean. The full grid by vehicle size is in the pricing section. Here is what the work actually looks like, in order.
- 01Vacuum everythingSeats, floors, mats, seat rails, the trunk. Seats slide forward and back so the rails and the strip underneath actually get done, not just the parts you can see.
- 02Full wipe-downDash, console, door panels, vents. Every surface you touch daily, plus the ones you never think about.
- 03Jambs and glassDoor jambs wiped clean, interior windows polished so there is no haze at night against oncoming headlights.
- 04The heavy stuffPet hair, ground-in stains, mud, a trunk deep clean. That is Exclusive territory, and it is all included in the price.
Condition is the honest variable. A sedan that parks at Ajax GO all week is a different job than an SUV that hauls a dog to Duffins Creek every weekend, and the heavier job simply takes longer.
The Ford Edge below is a real Ajax driveway job, dog hair through every seam and a winter of salt in the carpet, and it gets the full start-to-finish story in the pet hair section further down. Interior deep cleaned, leather cleaned and conditioned, all without the car leaving the driveway.

Door panels take more abuse than any other interior surface. Armrests, handles, window switches, pockets full of receipts and grit. They get wiped and detailed on every Premium and Exclusive, and the vents get the same treatment. One more frame from the same Edge job is below, straight off the camera.

If you searched for interior car detailing in Ajax, Ontario because the inside is the problem, Premium is usually the right call. Go Exclusive if pets, stains or a rough winter are involved.
Exterior: hand wash, wheels, wax, spray ceramic.
No brushes, no drive-through scratches.
Every package includes an exterior hand wash and tire shine. Premium adds deep-cleaned wheels and a spray wax. Exclusive finishes with a spray ceramic sealant. Headlight restoration is a $50 add-on. No brushes touch your paint at any tier, just two hands and proper wash mitts.
Drive-through washes are fast, and that is the whole pitch. The brushes and cloth strips carry grit from every car before yours and drag it across your paint, which is where fine swirl marks come from, the spider-webbing you see in direct sun. A hand wash starts with a rinse to knock the loose dirt off, then clean mitts, panel by panel, the same order the Odyssey job below got, right down to the rim cleaner and wheel brushes on its wheels and the tire foam to finish. There is a difference between a car wash in Ajax and clean paint, and you can see it from ten feet.
Ajax paint has one main enemy: salt. A winter of spray off the 401, Bayly and Westney leaves a film bonded to the lower panels and packed in behind the wheels, with construction dust up north and waterfront sand doing quieter work. All of it comes off, but it has to come off properly or it scratches on the way.
Tire shine is included in every package. In Premium the wheels themselves get deep cleaned, because brake dust bakes onto the faces and barrels and a quick rinse does not touch it. Clean wheels change how the whole car reads from the curb.
On protection, here is the honest version. The spray wax in Premium adds gloss and water beading for the short term. The spray ceramic sealant in Exclusive goes further: water beads harder, road grime rinses off easier at your next wash, and you get short-term protection, a step up from the wax, not a multi-year coating. We do not sell those, and we will not pretend a spray gives you one.
The headlight add-on is exactly what it sounds like: hazed, yellowed lenses polished back to clear, which looks better and throws more light at night. Pet hair removal in Ajax: a real job, start to finish.
One Ford Edge, one dog, every seam in the interior. This is how it actually went.
The Edge came to me here in Ajax with the kind of interior every dog owner recognizes and nobody photographs on purpose. Dog hair worked into every seam, a red collar sitting on the floor mat, a cargo area carrying what looked like a full season of hair and debris. Pedals caked in grime, and road salt ground deep into the carpet. The owner confirmed the story the car had already told.
I did the whole job in the owner's driveway, everything the work needed on board. That is how every mobile detail we run in Ajax goes, whether you are in Westney Heights, Pickering Village, or a townhouse lane off Audley.

Every seam meant every seam. The stitching on the seat bolsters, the rails the seats slide on, the gap where the console meets the carpet, under the belt buckles. Hair finds all of it, and the only way it comes out is by hand, section by section.
Pet hair is the hardest interior job in detailing, and it is not close. Every strand carries static, so it clings to fabric instead of lifting away. Worse, hair does not sit on carpet, it screws down into the weave and wraps around the fibres until it is basically part of the floor. That is why the coin-op vacuum at the car wash never wins this fight, suction alone takes what sits on the surface. Hair locked in the pile needs agitation, the right brushes, and patience.
Done properly, the order of operations matters as much as the effort.
- 01Dry work firstNo water anywhere near the hair. Wet dog hair mats into carpet and locks itself in, so everything starts dry.
- 02Agitate against the weaveStiff rubber brushes drag the hair up out of the pile, seam by seam, the slow way, because there is no fast way.
- 03Vacuum in crossing passesSeats, floors, and trunk get repeated passes from different directions until the vacuum comes up empty.
- 04Wet work lastOnly once the hair is out do the salt lines, stains, and grime get cleaned and extracted.
The cargo area on this Edge was the worst of it. Hair and debris layered through the carpet and packed into the corners where the seats fold down. It took the full treatment, and it came back to clean, bare carpet you would load groceries onto without thinking twice.

Up front, the pedals were caked with grime and the carpet held a winter of road salt, the usual Ajax mix. The grime got scrubbed off the pedals and the salt drawn out of the carpet fibre instead of smeared around. Small things, but they are what you see and feel every single time you drive.

If you run a dog to Rotary Park or along the waterfront trail in the same SUV that does the school run, you already know how this builds up. It is not neglect, it is just life with a dog in Durham Region. Nobody here judges the before photos. They exist so the after photos mean something.
What it costs: pet hair removal is included in our Exclusive Detail, $180 to $260 depending on vehicle size, alongside heavy stain and mud cleanup and a trunk deep clean, all in the price. On a Basic or Premium Detail, heavy pet hair is priced as condition. Either way you hear the number before any work starts, never after.
Plan for the Exclusive to take three to four hours on site, so give it a stretch of day when the vehicle can sit still.
The last part of this job was the leather. Cleaned first, so the conditioner had a clean surface to soak into, then conditioned so it stays soft through the next season of paws. The red collar went back on the mat, the one thing in that interior that stayed exactly as it was. Text me a photo of your back seat and I will tell you straight what it needs.
What does Ajax actually do to a car?
The local dirt profile, street by street.
Ajax puts salt, sand, dust, and mud on a car in roughly that seasonal order. The 401 and arterials like Bayly and Westney spray brine all winter, the newer phases off Audley and Taunton add construction dust, and the waterfront and the Duffins trails contribute the rest. We clean all of it, in your driveway.
Winter is the big one. Anything that commutes the 401 or runs Bayly, Westney, or Harwood through the winter comes home wearing road brine. It dries white on paint, creeps into door jambs, and soaks into the carpet at the driver's footwell. The freeze-thaw cycle here means the salt keeps coming back with every re-salting of the 401 and the arterials. By April there is usually a crust under the mats that a vacuum alone will not lift.
North Ajax is a construction zone in slow motion. The new phases off Audley and Taunton put fine dust on everything parked near them, and it does not stay outside. It settles into vents, dashboards, and door pockets. South Ajax near the waterfront has the opposite problem: sand walked in from Rotary Park and the waterfront trail, and the kind of mud Duffins Creek hands out after any wet week.
Then there is the wear nobody notices happening. Coffee on the run to the Ajax GO station, kids in and out twice a day, a dog in the cargo area every weekend. Commuter SUVs and minivans around Westney Heights, Nottingham, and Pickering Village carry that quietly for months, and then one day the cabin smells like all of it at once.
None of this is a complaint. It is the job. A Basic Detail, $90 to $130 depending on vehicle size, keeps a maintained car ahead of it. A cabin that has absorbed a full winter usually needs the Premium or Exclusive level, and since we are a mobile detailing service, the fix happens wherever the car sits.
A 2012 Honda Odyssey after six months of neglect.
A real Ajax job, written up start to finish.
This one came to us in Ajax after six months without a proper clean. I did the job myself, and a family minivan after half a year of Ontario driving looks about how you would expect: every surface inside carrying its share, and a winter's worth of grime on the outside.
The job was a full interior and exterior detail, done on site. Vacuum everything, wipe down every surface, deep clean the wheels, wash the paint, dress the tires. Buildup like that takes real hours to undo. Booked today, a minivan in this condition is our Exclusive Detail: three to four hours, $230, everything included in the price.
The honest takeaway is that six months is about the point where a quick car wash stops helping. Dirt that has had a season to settle in does not rinse off, it has to be worked out, panel by panel. That is the difference between car cleaning and interior car detailing, and it is why the two are priced differently.
I wrote the whole job up honestly, what I found and what it took, in the full Odyssey detail writeup. And if you are trying to work out what a job like this should cost before you book anything, our Ontario cost guide breaks the numbers down properly.

When to detail in Ajax: a seasonal calendar.
The 401 and Lake Ontario set the schedule. Plan around them.
Detail at least twice a year in Ajax: a deep clean in March or April to pull winter salt out of carpets and jambs, and a protection detail in October or November before the first salting run. Summer calls for a Premium to clear trail mud and waterfront sand; winter is interior season, since slush carries salt inside daily.
March to April .. the salt purge
The most important detail of the year in Ajax. A winter of salt from the 401, Bayly, and Westney is sitting in your carpets and door jambs right now, and a drive-through car wash only rinses the shell. The Exclusive Detail ($180 to $260) pulls it out .. heavy stain and mud cleanup, trunk deep clean, spray ceramic sealant to finish. Book early, spring calendars fill first.
May to August .. pets, sand, and trail mud
Duffins trail mud in the mats, waterfront sand walked in from Rotary Park, dog hair from weekend walks worked into the seats. A Premium Detail covers most of it .. full interior wipe-down, wheels deep cleaned, spray wax on top. If the dog owns the back seat, step up to the Exclusive for pet hair removal.
October to November .. protect before the first salt
Protection season. A Premium or Exclusive Detail before the first salting run puts spray wax or spray ceramic sealant between your paint and a winter of brine. It is far easier to keep salt off a protected surface than to scrub it off a bare one in March.
December to February .. the interior months
Nobody hoses down a car outside in January, and you don't have to. We come to your driveway all winter. Interiors matter most now .. melting slush carries salt into the carpet, boots grind it in, and a mid-winter interior clean stops the crust from setting in until spring.
Ajax car detailing questions, answered straight.
Cost, timing, pet hair, salt, booking. No runaround.
How much does car detailing cost in Ajax?
Mobile detailing in Ajax runs $90 to $260 CAD with us, depending on package and vehicle size. A Basic Detail on a small car is $90, a Premium on a sedan is $150, and the full Exclusive on a pickup is $260. Prices come straight from our live booking page. Condition can add to the price, and you're told before work starts.
How long does a detail take?
A Basic Detail takes 45 to 75 minutes, a Premium runs 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and the Exclusive takes 3 to 4 hours. Condition matters .. a minivan full of pet hair takes longer than a commuter sedan that gets washed monthly. We work in your driveway, so you carry on with your day while we do ours.
Do you come to my house or condo?
Yes. Driveways, townhouse lanes, and workplace lots all work anywhere in Ajax. For a condo, a visitor stall or surface spot is fine as long as we can park and set up beside the vehicle. All we need is room to work, and we bring everything else.
Do I need to provide water or power?
No. We bring our own water, power, equipment, and products to every job. That's the point of being fully mobile. Whether you're in a Westney Heights driveway or a lot off Bayly, the setup is the same .. we park beside the vehicle and get to work. You provide nothing but the car.
Can you remove pet hair completely?
Yes, pet hair removal is included in the Exclusive Detail, and it's work we do often. A Ford Edge we detailed in Ajax had dog hair worked into every seam, and it came out. Very heavy hair can add to the price, but you'll know before we start. If hair is your main problem, mention it when you book.
Can you get winter salt out of carpets?
Yes. Salt crust from the 401 and the arterial roads comes out of most carpets with a proper deep clean, and the Exclusive Detail's heavy stain and mud cleanup covers exactly this. The white residue you see in spring gets dissolved and extracted, not vacuumed over. The longer it sits, the deeper it works into the fibres, so book the purge early.
Do you detail while I'm at work?
Yes. We come to workplace lots across Ajax, including along the 401 corridor, Bayly, and Kingston Rd. Book a slot, tell us where you park, hand off the key or leave it with reception, and the car is done before you clock out. The job is fully self-contained, so no building hookup is needed.
What payment do you take?
Debit or e-transfer, whichever suits you. You pay when the job is done and you've walked around the vehicle yourself. The price quoted at booking is the price you pay .. if heavy pet hair, deep stains, or a winter of salt adds work, you hear about it before we start, never after.
How far ahead should I book?
A day or two ahead is usually enough, and same-day slots open up when the schedule allows. We run 7:00am to 9:30pm, seven days a week, so early mornings and evenings are real options. Spring tends to be the busy stretch in Ajax .. everyone wants the salt out at once .. so book earlier in March and April.
Is mobile detailing the same price as a shop?
Yes .. you pay the same posted package price, $90 to $260 CAD, that you would pay at a fixed location, with no travel fee added. Some mobile outfits charge extra to come to you; we don't. You also skip the drop-off, the shuttle, and the waiting room, and you can inspect the work the minute it's finished in your own driveway.
About Exclsive Detailing Co., where the owner does the work.
The person you book is the person who shows up.
I'm Zehaan, owner and lead detailer at Exclsive Detailing Co. I started the business in Durham Region in 2026 and I still do every job personally .. no crews, no subcontractors, no guessing who turns up. If you book, it's me beside your car.
We hold a 5.0 rating on Google across 11 reviews .. read them here. We serve Ajax seven days a week, from Pickering Village to the new streets off Audley Rd. Call or text (365) 275-3605, reach us on WhatsApp, or book online in a couple of minutes.
No sales script either. If your car only needs a Basic, that's what I'll tell you.
